"I do not measure Photography in centimeters, nor do I homologate it to the canons of the mere technical perfection of Photoshop-graphic mannerism. I refuse the overdose of the use and dispose ideal propagated on the web and its consumerist message of alleged democratization of Photography."
I was born in 1962 in Italy. I left in Rome a conventional history of classical studies, degree in law, leadership in public administration, and moved to Sweden where I started my cosmopolitan experience.
The long stay in Turkey, UAE, UK, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean origins make me a "young" neophyte of the latest photographic generation, poetry film making and photo-poetry writing with not stars and stripes.
I use the instrument of reflection to evoke an apparent reality. The stratagem of a message disguised in a reflection is the antagonist of the immediate image and exceeds the architecture of conventional visual stereotypes.
Sublimation of inner conflicts in the unlimited space of my eye does not yield even to the apparent anonymity of fabricated structures.
The idealization of communicating conflict through photographic mediums led me to expanding the message through the voice of poetry.
Furthermore, the artistic path challenges the technological scenario with the realization of a video-installation. A North African country, Italy and Sweden are the witnesses of the mystery of destiny "marked" on the face of the protagonist.

Afrodite Shorts is an incredible initiative supporting and bringing to light the creative and emotive fortitude of women of all ages and nations ...
